Hello visitors. I am older (hopefully wiser) than many but not too set in my ways. I love life and my wife. I am a follower of Jesus Christ who has changed my life for the better. I will be adding my photographs, Bible studies, devotionals, quotes and other thoughts–original and borrowed. Unless otherwise noted, all photographs taken by David Nelson. My Statement of Faith

I believe in One God, the Creator of all things, visible and invisible.

I also believe. . .

Contrary to many arguments, the Jews did not kill the Lord of Glory—Jesus. Although part of the driving force behind his death, the Jewish leaders were God-ordained players in this singular historical moment.

Just as He chose Mary to bear His Son, God used the Jews to carry out His wishes, proving His supernatural love for all mankind.

Finally, I believe the Bible was written by humans inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. If you’ve never read the Bible I suggest you  begin with the Gospel of John followed by the Book of Romans.
